Speechcraft is a short-term public speaking and communication program offered by Toastmasters clubs to help individuals gain confidence, improve presentation skills, and become more comfortable speaking in front of others.

Designed for beginners and those looking to sharpen their skills, Speechcraft provides a supportive, low-pressure environment where participants learn by doing.


What Is Speechcraft?

Speechcraft is a blended learning program that combines:

  • Live, instructor-led sessions (in person or virtual)
  • Interactive online learning activities designed for adult learners

Participants practice real-world communication skills they can use immediately—at work, school, or in everyday conversations.


What You’ll Learn

Participants develop essential public speaking and communication skills, including:

  • Choosing and organizing a clear message
  • Preparing and delivering effective presentations
  • Using body language and vocal variety
  • Giving and receiving constructive feedback
  • Speaking with purpose and confidence

Each session builds skills step by step, helping participants grow steadily over the course of the program.


Program Length & Format

Speechcraft programs typically run:

  • 4, 6, or 8 weeks
  • In person, online, or in a hybrid format

Each program is hosted by a local Toastmasters club and led by experienced speakers.
