What it is:
A Club Officer Induction is a short, formal ceremony that officially recognizes outgoing leaders and installs the newly elected club officers. It marks the transition of leadership, reinforces each role’s responsibilities, and sets the tone for the new Toastmasters year.

Items Needed for the Induction Ceremony:

  • Club Officer Pin Set – Pins for each incoming officer
  • Gavel – Symbol of leadership and authority, passed to each officer during installation
  • Club President Award – Presented to the outgoing president in recognition of service
  • Club Leadership Handbook – Reference for officer roles, responsibilities, and best practices
  • Optional tokens of appreciation – Small gifts to thank outgoing officers for their service

The full induction script, role descriptions, and additional guidance can be found in the Toastmasters International Club Leadership Handbook.
