Michelle Sturdivant

Area B3 Director

Michelle Sturdivant

A collaborative leader and experienced communicator, Michelle Sturdivant is honored to serve as an Area Director in District 8. She began her professional journey in 2001 with Saint Louis Bread Company, where her passion for learning led her into the Learning & Development field. There, she earned certification as a FranklinCovey facilitator and became known for innovative training solutions, including a highly successful “lunch and learn” model that developed employee skills without disrupting productivity.

Michelle’s introduction to Toastmasters came through formative feedback from a colleague, sparking her decision to join Speak Easy Toastmasters in 2015. Through the program, she strengthened her communication skills, gained confidence, and discovered her leadership voice—earning her Competent Leader certification before Competent Communicator. Inspired by Toastmasters’ values, Michelle adopted her personal mantra, “Integrity – Without It Nothing Works,” and collaborated with her organization to design and facilitate integrity-focused training.

Within Toastmasters, Michelle has served in every club officer role, as Area 9 Director, and contributed at the district level by assisting with the rebranding of District 8 contest scripts and forms in 2019. She currently serves as Club President of Speak Easy Toastmasters, continuing her commitment to developing leaders and strengthening clubs.

Outside of Toastmasters, Michelle is the CEO of Articulate Solutions, LLC and founder of Consortium Artistry, a creative think tank for musicians, vocalists, and artists. A lover of open-mic nights, travel, and culinary exploration, she also pursues graduate studies at Guarded Heart Bible College, where she is completing a Master’s degree in Christian Education. Michelle resides in Winchester, Virginia, with her nine-year-old feline companion, Ebonee.
