Kathy is a retired nurse with a passion for travel, family, and community service. A proud mother of three and grandmother of seven, she has been a dedicated member of Gem City Toastmasters in Quincy, Illinois, since April 2019. Kathy has served her club in several officer roles, including Sergeant at Arms and Vice President of Membership, and successfully completed a club coach assignment for Noontime Toastmasters in Illinois.
In addition to her Toastmasters journey, Kathy has been an active member of the Lions Club since 2009, serving two terms as District Governor. In preparation for a speech at the Lions State Convention in May, she completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 of the Dynamic Leadership Path. In September, she will proudly receive her Doctorate from Lions University, an achievement she credits to the confidence and courage gained through Toastmasters.
Always up for an adventure, Kathy looks forward to visiting the clubs in Area C11 and connecting with fellow members across the district.
