A dedicated Toastmaster since 2019, Ira Walker has been highly involved in his club Centene Speaks where he had held a plethora of officer roles since the club’s inauguration. In 2021, Ira won the Area 4 Table Topics Speech Contest. As the president of his club from 2023-2024, Ira guided Centene Speaks to the honor of President Distinguished.
Outside of work at Centene and Toastmasters, Ira is the current national ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association where he helps to raise awareness, support and is a champion for those in the neuromuscular community. With a strong intellectual curiosity for the arts, Ira spends his down time enjoying cultural events including the symphony, the opera, plays and art galleries.
Ira lives by the credence that we should approach life by extending happiness, benevolence & adoration to others.
