Cynthia Mill, current VPE of Southern Illinois Toastmasters, has been showing up to help others hone their public speaking, human relations and leadership skills for close to forty years. In 1986 she took her first Dale Carnegie® course, and became a certified facilitator in 2008. Joining Toastmasters two years later was a natural fit with the ‘Win Friends and Influence People’ philosophy she had been immersed in. Cynthia uses the experience she gains through her Club Officer and Club Meeting roles to help her run a business with her partner Bob Chambers, and serve in community organizations. The connections gained through Southern Illinois Toastmasters and the growth provided by District and International inspires her to continue taking on Toastmasters Leadership challenges!
