Carrie Dostal, Past Division Director, joined Toastmasters in 1999 and has been a member of four clubs in the former District 19, and is currently SAA of Voices in Motion. She has served several times as District Treasurer/Finance Manager. She has also been Auditor, Area Director, Program Quality Director and served on many committees over the years.
Carrie lives in Urbandale with her husband Craig. She attended Marshalltown Community College and Iowa State University and is now retired after a 32-year career at Farm Bureau Financial Services. Carrie spends many weekends as pit crew for Craig’s dirt bike racing. They also enjoy golf and working out together. They have one son, Josh, age 26, who is out of the house, but not entirely off the payroll! Carrie volunteers for a variety of other organizations, her favorite being the coffee shop at her church.
