Anne Warth is excited to step into the role of Division B Director! She has been a Toastmaster since 2014 when she was in the middle of a 28-year career in marketing, pricing and recruiting at Caterpillar. While she was experienced public speaker since the beginning of her career, she always sought feedback to improve. A manager observed that she used a lot of “ums and ahs” when she spoke and suggested that Toastmasters could help. She went to the next meeting she could find and fell in love with Toastmasters! While reducing her use of filler words is an ongoing journey, she gained much more than she anticipated.
Through service in multiple club officer roles and as an Area Director, she has furthered her leadership development. Giving back to the organization that has supported her development as a leader and communicator has been an honor. Seeing fellow Toastmasters grow in their own leadership and communication abilities has been rewarding! She is excited to serve as a Division Director, continuing to develop herself and support the development of her fellow Toastmasters.
